A Fork in the Road

When we travel down the road of life sometimes we hit a fork in the road. Sometimes
the road just ends. Think about the forks you have hit in your life, maybe it goes all
the way back to when you left high school you thought about going to college or a tech
school or should you find a job, taking a gap year.

Perhaps you have found yourself at the end of a road when a job was eliminated.
You have nowhere to go, as you look ahead there is nothing. You might have to
go back a few steps and find a turn, a new job in a new field? A new company or a
new direction all together. These are difficult situations to get through, but people do
it everyday. How do you maneuver through tough times?

How do you prepare for the dead end roads in your life?
Take a deep breath, look around, what options are available? Or one of my favorites,
make a list. What are the possibilities?

Thinking of the changes I have made in my life, some good decisions, some not
so good. There usually was a fork in the road. A direction I could take, or a path
I could continue on. Sometimes you need to take a different path, to travel the fork
you did not intend.

Here’s to bravery on a journey that is unknown.

Out of Sorts

It doesn’t happen very often but occasionally I get out of sorts. When it happens in the
morning I just want to stew, this morning I had that feeling, I had my cup of coffee, wrote
my Senator and took a deep breath. Time to go for a walk and start my day on a better
note.

And then I went for a walk...and my entire attitude changed. I feel like I can now move on
with my day. Nothing is that bad that I can’t deal. It’s time to move on, put a smile on my
face and get ready for the week day.

Note for the day: Going for a walk helps with mind games 95% of the time.

I wish you peace this day!
